Ken Gamble - U.S. Navy 1962-68
Ken Gamble served in Vietnam from 1966-67 where he was exposed to Agent Orange. After being diagnosed with Agent Orange related cancer Ken founded the Orange Heart Medal Foundation. The purpose of the Orange Heart Medal Project is to bring recognition to veterans who were exposed and subsequently were affected by Agent Orange during their military service in the United States Armed Services. Robin Spence
Robin Spence is the widow of Joseph Clinton Spence who served in the U.S. Army 1971-95. Joseph server in Vietnam in the Infantry and also served as an Airborne Ranger and Recruiter. In 2018 Joseph died or Agent Orange related liver cancer. Robin was presented an Orange Heart Medal in honor of her husbands service and sacrifice and now serves as the North Carolina representative for the Orange Heart Medal Foundation.

When people ask us, “what’s the most incredible story a Veteran has ever told you”, we usually mention Jim Blaylock telling us about being tossed in a body bag after being mistaken for dead.
"It was getting a bit warm and stuffy but it wasn’t long before we reached the mortuary and I was put on the cooler tray. When they opened the door and it was my time for the embalming the mortician had just made his incision and I bled a little, that was unusual and so he began to check my vital signs then they were able to get a slight pulse” - From Jim's interview (Sep 2019)
