Jonathan Lopez / Operation Enduring Warrior

Jonathan Lopez - U.S. Army 1996-2002

Jonathan Lopez served in the U.S. Army from 1996 -2002 with the 1st Infantry Division known as "THE BIG RED ONE"

Jonathan suffered a traumatic amputation and other severe bodily injuries while stationed in Germany due to a non combat related injury.

After a long recovery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center he went through difficult times adjusting to life out of the service and his injuries, eventually attempting suicide.

With help from his family and with the Operation Enduring Warrior team, he found a new life and the support of other veterans that could help him and allow him be part of something bigger than himself.

Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW) is a veteran-founded non‐profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to honor, empower, and motivate our nation’s wounded military and law enforcement veterans through physical, mental and emotional rehabilitation. OEW programs help participants overcome adversity and hardship through innovation, teamwork, and perseverance. This ultimately enables the lives of our wounded military and public service veterans to go in directions they may have once thought were impossible.

OEW is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Donations go directly towards operational support of the organization and our various programs.
