Angelique Williams - U.S. Navy 1997-2014

Angelique Williams served as a Yeomen in the U.S. Navy. During her career Angelique served aboard the USS Rainier, with HSL-37 in Hawaii, at Navy Operational Support Center (NOSC) Long Island and was deployed working in customs. While serving Angelique both witnessed and experienced Military sexual trauma (MST) and by sharing her story hopes to encourage other female veterans to speak out. Angelique's adjustment to post-military life has been helped by her family, art and her service dog Buddy who was given to her by Paws of War. Recently Angelique was honored along with 27 other servicewomen with the Women's Military Service Medal by the Long Island Air Force Association.
