Walt Disney and WWII: The Walt Disney Family Museum with Exec. Dir. Kirsten Komoroske

USAWS Exec Producer Ross Rowlinson Interview's with Ms. Kirsten Komoroske, Executive Director of The Walt Disney Family Museum located in San Francisco, Ca. in the Presidio while covering the ABMC West Coast Memorial - WWII (Pacific Merchant Marine) Memorial dedication in the Presidio with USAWS partners, the American Merchant Marine Veterans association.

The interview with Ms. Komoroske tells of The Walt Disney Family Museum history, its working with local veterans and the important story of Walt Disney's long history of patriotism and his contributions to the U.S. WWII effort as well as the museums creation of the traveling Walt Disney Studios and World War II exhibition.

During the interview Komoroske also describes the museum partnering with (AMMV) The American Merchant Marine Veteran's association with AMMV holding their reception at the Diane Disney Miller Exhibition Hall after the newly created (ABMC) the American Battle Monuments Commissions, West Coast Memorial dedication at the Presidio on National Maritime Day - April 22nd, 2025.

Komoroske also spotlights the Disney / Merchant Mariner connection with Disney's WWII Artists having created a WWII Merchant Marine Insignia Patch during the War.
