Ken Corona - U.S. Navy 1969-2001
Ken Corona joined the U.S. Navy in 1969. He was first stationed at Naval Ordnance Missile Test Facility at White Sands, New Mexico. In 1969 Ken was assigned to the Naval Special Warfare Community, reporting to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team TWO and earned the rank of SDVT-2 Command Master Chief. Ken joined SEAL Team SIX In 1991 and served there until his retirement from active duty in April 2001. After retiring, Ken continued to serve the SEAL community as a government employee overseeing and managing multiple SEAL combat deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, and other locations around the world until October 2013. He is now the Assistant Executive Director of the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida.
