The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall

American Legion Post 419 in East Hampton, NY hosted The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall this past Memorial Day Weekend. This Traveling Memorial stands as a reminder of the great sacrifices made during the Vietnam War. It was made for the purpose of helping heal and rekindle friendships and to allow people the opportunity to visit loved ones in their hometown who otherwise may not be able to make the trip to Washington. Also included are memorials to 9/11, Operations Desert Shield/Storm, Iraqi Freedom, New Dawn, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, Freedom’s Sentinel, Just Cuse, Urgent Fury as well as those who were lost in Somolia and Jordan.

During the three days USA Warrior Stories interviewed numerous visitors to this Traveling Memorial capturing personal stories of loss and remembrance.
