Bill Welser - U.S. Air Force 1971-2004

Bill Welser spent over 34 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 2005 as a Lt. General. He served as Director of Operations and Logistics for U.S. Transportation Command, where he led operations supporting the response to 9/11. He is the former President of Space Coast Honor Flight, Florida and is now on the national board for the organization. Bill is currently President of the Space Coast Honor Flight Board and under his leadership the program has expanded significantly, making it possible to honor hundreds of World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam Veterans by providing an opportunity for them to visit their monument in Washington D.C.
