Sean Timberlake is a U.S. Army veteran retired Staff Sergeant
Sean shares his service story and also talks about his post service difficulties in which the VA suggested Sean work with a service dog to help him with his PTSD and aid with his mobility and with his recovery as well as reconnecting with other Veterans like him through the Dogs For Life organization that is located in his home town Vero Beach, FL.
After of 22 years of service to our country and his service dog Judy have been together for the past 6 years. “After getting out of the military, I lost my identity. I lost a lot in my life, and I still had my parents at the time. But when I lost them, it hit me hard, but I had her (Judy) to help me keep going. You know, without her, I don't know where I'd be today.”

Happy 101st Birthday to WWII Veteran Robert W. Jones. Robert was born on September 9th, 1922 and served in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft engineer 1942-45. We interviewed Robert and his granddaughter U.S. Coast Guard/Air Force Veteran Lisha Jones at VFW Post 5350 in Westhampton Beach NY. The Jones family has a long history of service going back to the American Revolution where their relative Robert Townsend was part of the Culper spy ring supplying vital information for George Washington.
