2011 visit to the American Cemetery and Memorial in Normandy.
In 2011 Nick Kraus & Matt Hindra, the founders of USA Warrior Stories, traveled with and filmed a group of injured U.S. and British service men and women on a visit to the American Cemetery and Memorial in Normandy. This project was sponsored by Wounded Warrior Project and BLESMA, the British Limbless Ex-Servicemen's Association.

In 2011 we traveled with and filmed a group of injured U.S. service men and women traveling to the UK and France on the 1st Soldier Ride UK. This was a joint event with Wounded Warrior Project and BLESMA (British Limbless Ex-Servicemen’s Association). The ride took place over 7 days through the English country side, London and Normandy.

Memorial Day parade and ceremony held in Sag Harbor, NY with keynote speaker U.S. Army Veteran and Honor Flight Long Island president Bill Jones.
During his speech Bill recognized the sacrifices of local Veterans who were killed in action including; 19-year-old Marine Corps Lance Corporal Jordan Hearter, 24-year-old Army National First Lieutenant Joe Theinert, and 24-year-old Army Specialist Orlando Perez. By saying their names we continue to honor these men for their ultimate sacrifice.
