Ahmad Azmi - U.S. Navy 2008-16
Jimmy Jackson joined the Army in 2003 right after his 17th birthday and was deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was part of the 2nd Infantry Division,3rd Brigade, 23rd Infantry and stationed mostly in Mosul. After leaving the military in 2007, with the rank of Specialist E4, Jimmy wrestled with PTSD but discovered a new mission by founding a non-profit organization called “Do You Give a Ruck?’ that organizes ruck marches to fundraise for veterans causes and to raise awareness of the problems veterans face adjusting back into civilian life.

Ahmad Azmi - U.S. Navy 2008-16
Ahmad Azmi, a Pakistani/American, enlisted with the U.S. Navy Seabees Reserve and soon was put on full active duty serving at FOB Spin Buldak and Camp Wilson, in the southern Kandahar province of Afghanistan, next to the border with Pakistan. Ahmad was stationed at Kandahar Airfield (KAF) building SWA huts and a local school as well as working as an interpreter.
